The Green Hills area of Nashville has been the focus of many transportation and land use plans over the last few decades. Over the next few months, a unique partnership of public agencies, private businesses, and Metro residents will work together to create a plan that combines the best of past recommendations with current community opinions. Guided by the Green Hills Area Plan Resource Team, we will not replicate previous studies; instead we will determine what has or has not been successful and why, and bring hard data together with creative, eye-catching visualizations and innovative approaches to help the Team make informed recommendations.
We have experts in land use, transportation, transit, design, economics, and other areas that are important to Green Hills’ future. But our most important partner is you! Look around the website, and after you have read all we have posted (new material will be coming along on a regular basis), and after you have filled out our survey (coming soon), then we hope you’ll find a way to get involved and stay involved.
